Happy Booday! October might be one of the best months to have a birthday... gorgeous weather and a built-in theme that is a real crowd pleaser every year. With 2 young toddlers, our weekends are filled with kids' birthday parties. This past weekend, we helped a friend create a boho Halloween birthday party vibe and it was so fun. Our newest Halloween birthday party bundle was inspired by this birthday party, and now you can host one too!

Design Inspo

When creating our Halloween design, we had a few goals in mind.

  • Create a unique, boho/neutral halloween design that wasn’t your typical orange and black.
  • Create something cute, not scary or creepy since all the kids are fairly young. We wanted to keep it light and fun vs. give them nightmares.
  • Provide a few simple activities that young children can do on their own (nothing too organized)
  • Let the hosts enjoy the party! Birthday party printables are not only aesthetically pleasing, they are also functional. They provide some structure and basic instruction for your guests. The welcome sign shows them where to enter. The thank you sign and party favors show them where to exit. The activity signs show them how to do each activity (and how it ties back to the party/theme), and the cards and gifts sign shows them where to put the gifts so you don’t have to answer this question 25 times!

Final Thoughts

Overall the party decor came together fairly easily. The signs really helped tie everything together and give the party some structure. It paired well with many other halloween decorations. The kids had a blast with the activities and the parents seemed pretty stress-free!! Do you want to throw a halloween birthday party? Just print these and add frames, balloons, halloween decorations…you got yourself a party!
